Pink and purple coloured pear shaped lobes correspond to the two wave phases (positive and negative) of the orbital, the atomic nuclei are represented by opaque white spheres. An unhybridised model of a 2s plus three 2p orbitals as well as hybridised models of sp, sp, and sp can also be made. Each model comes with its own transparent base for display purpose.
